Aries is the first sign in the Zodiac and the word “first” is stamped on their foreheads. The Aries child will be the first in line when Dad hands out the chocolate and the first who dashes out the door when the school bell rings. Arians will be the first to parade in the latest fashion trend and the first up for a promotion. Coming first seems to be the primary motivation behind the exuberant Arian energy.

This fixation with ‘me’ and ‘I’m first’ stems from the fact that Aries represents the infant of the Zodiac. They’ll gurgle happily totally absorbed with their own fingers and toes. Arians are like happy infants so long as everything runs according to their wishes and needs. However, if these needs aren’t taken care of quick enough by whoever’s job it is to take care of Aries - parent, partner or just friend - like infants, Arians too have a healthy set of lungs to protest with.
